The Chairman for Zimbabwe Cricket Tavengwa Mukuhlani has described former cricket captain Heath Streak as a corrupt, greedy and selfish character.

In a statement, Tavengwa also welcomed and endorsed the International Cricket Councils (ICC) decision to ban former Zimbabwe captain and coach Heath Streak from all Cricket activities for eight years.

The ban came after Heath Streak accepted five charges of breaching the ICC Anti-corruption Code.

“He has let cricket down. He has let down the teams and players coaches. He has let the nation down. He has let down the fans, including impressionable children who loved and idolised him,” said Tavengwa in a statement.

Tavengwa also warned offenders that corruption has no place in Cricket.
