The President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa says he is ready to deploy technical mission to Mozambique.
The President revealed the news after the Troika meeting that was held in Maputo today.
“The SADC Double Troika Summit has directed for an immediate technical deployment to Mozambique,” tweeted Mnangagwa.
The Extraordinary Double Troika Summit was officially opened by H. E. Filipe Nyusi, President of Mozambique and Chairperson of SADC.
The summit was attended by Mokgweetsi Masisi, Emmerson Mnangagwa, Lazarus Chakwera, Cyril Ramaphosa and Ali Mwinyi representing Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
The Double Troika Summit directed an immediate technical deployment to the Republic of Mozambique, and the convening of an Extraordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Committee to the Organ by 28 April 2021 that will report to the Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit on 29 April.
