Former South African President, Jacob Zuma , has made stunning allegations in leaked notes that have gone viral on social media.
In the leaked notes, Zuma alleges that leaders of the ANC sent Mandla Mandela to Qatar to stop the powerful leader of that country, Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin al-Thani, from meeting him when he visited in 2018.
Mandla Mandela met with the Sheikh before he met Zuma.
In response, Mandla Mandela told the Star newspaper that he was invited to Qatar by the South African Embassy as a guest of honor at the Heritage day Celebrations in September 2018 and it was a coincidence that he arrived at the same time as Zuma.
Mandela said he arrived on a commercial flight, QR1369.
Mandla Mandela produced a ticket showing that he travelled using the Qatar airways flight.
