Media personality Ruvheneko says ED Mnangagwa and his government should prioritise disabled people in Zimbabwe.

Posting on twitter Ruvheneko said most of the buildings in Zimbabwe are not suitable for disabled people.

“How many buildings that we walk into daily are suitable for persons with disabilitie- even our homes? I’ve always wondered what it must be like, unable to hear or speak, but cannot connect with society. Should we teach sign language in schools? We overlook so much😔”

Mahere suggested that sign language should be taught in schools to make it easier for disabled people to connect with everyone.

She added: “#KnowYourConstitution
Constitution Amendment No 20 (83): the State must take appropriate measures, within the limits of the resources available to it, to ensure that persons with disabilities realize their full mental & physical potential.
