Tanzania’s President, Samia Sulu has announced that Philip Mpango will be Tanzania’s vice president.

Members of Parliament voted unanimously to endorse Mpango after his nomination by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Tanzania’s former Finance and Planning Minister, Dr. Philip Mpango has been sworn in as the country’s new Vice President in the nation’s capital Dodoma.
