Nelson Nhunge (55) from Chinhoyi stabbed his wife Faith Mhlanga (36) to death during a fight over orange juice and biscuits.
Faith sustained severe injuries on her neck and chest.
According to sources reporting to HMetro, the couple had been cohabitating as husband and wife for 15years.
The incident happened on March 25. On the day Neslon Nhunge asked for some biscuits and some orange juice from his now deceased wife however she refused, arguing that her husband was not providing for his family. This did not go well as her response angered Nelson.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police has urged members of the public to desist from violence in trying to solve domestic disputes.
