The President of Botswana, Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Masisi is set to undertake a two-nation working visit to the Republic of Zambia and the Republic of Zimbabwe.

In a statement released by Botswana’s office of the Presidency, Masisi will meet Zambia’s President Edgar Lungu and Emmerson Mnangagwa on 31st of March 2021.

The working visit will afford Masisi the opportunity to engage with his counterparts on bilateral, regional and continental issues of mutual interest and concern.

Masisi will also explore common solutions to the pressing socioeconomic challenges occasioned by Covid-19.

Masisi will be accompanied by the minister of international affairs and cooperation, Honourable Dr. Lemogang Kwape, minister of basic education and senior officials.
