Delta Beverages has appointed Valela Matlhogonolo as the Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 July 2021.
Valela has been the Group’s Finance Director since July 2011.
Delta also announced that Valela will immediately assume the role of Chief Operating Officer.
The appointment of Valela comes after Delta Beverages announced the retirement of Pearson Gowero.
Pearson is set to step down on 30 June 2021, he has been the group’s CEO and Director of the Company.
Pearson has been with Delta Beverages for about 25 years and he was appointed as the CEO in 2012.
In other appointments, Alex Makamure has been appointed as the Group’s Finance Director.
Makamire will be the new Finance Director with effect from 1 April 2021 and he is currently the Company’s Secretary and Group Treasurer.
