Hopewell Chin’ono Gets Sinopharm Vaccine in Harare.

Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has received the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine against Covid-19 at Wilkins hospital in Harare.

Posting on twitter, Chin’ono said Journalists are in the priority category in Zimbabwe.

“I received the Sinopharm vaccine.
The staff was extremely courteous & professional.Vaccines are the only defense available to avoid getting seriously ill if you contract the Corona Virus”, he said

This comes after Chin’ono once slammed the government for begging for a donation of 200 000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine from China.

Chin’ono believes a country richly endowed with abundant natural resources like Zimbabwe should not be relying on such a pitiful donation as it plans to innoculate its over 14 million population.
