Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema says his party will ensure that the South African government pays for what happened to Mthokozisi Ntumba.

Malema told the members of the media at the Ntumba family home in Kempton Park, that they’ll get a lawyer who will make sure that the government pays for what happened to their brother.

Malema says it’s about time the state began to respect the ordinary people of the country.

“He’s got a family of three children, the youngest five months and the eldest being seven years old. He also takes care of his brothers and aunt. So you can see how many people have lost out of his death. We want to make sure that government pays a lot of money for killing an innocent soul” said Malema.

Mthokozisi Ntumba allegedly died after he was shot by a police officer during a protest last week.
