The Movement for Democratic Change (MDC Alliance) has responded to “threats” by the ruling party, Zanu-PF.

MDC Alliance’s spokeswoman, Advocate Fadzayi Mahere said the ruling party was afraid of the people’s agenda.

“We’re glad President Nelson Chamisa’s Agenda2021 message reached you. Calling for citizen convergence to bring about democratic change can’t be an unsettling proposition. We won’t rest until we’ve implemented the people’s agenda. Reform instead of declaring war and issuing threats,” tweeted Mahere.

The response by the MDC Alliance comes after Zanu-PF’s spokesperson, Simon Khaya Moyo said Zanu-PF had mechanisms to thwart the opposition party but was not willing to do so.
