The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) says it is currently attending to an armed robbery incident that happened at a Bureau De-Change in Bulawayo today.

According to a statement by the ZRP, a group of six armed robbers driving an unregistered silver Honda Fit vehicle, attacked the security guard and took away yet to be verified amount of money at a Bureau De-Change along 9th Avenue and Five Street, Bulawayo.

The police also revealed that a Safeguard Reaction Team was also attacked with a firearm and company vehicle being taken away.

However, the vehicle was later dumped in Malindela Surbub, Bulawayo.

The latest robbery follows last week’s robberies when armed robbers raided two service stations in Bulawayo, tied attendants’ hands before getting away with cash in dramatic incidents that occurred within two days.
