Newshawks reports that Zimbabwe Intelligence technicians used circles spyware to record former Vice President, Kembo Mohadi ‘secret phone calls with various women.

The recordings were then given to Mnangagwa and Chiwenga by CIO head, Isaac Moyo, before they were leaked to the media.

The leaks were made to contain Mohadi, who was previously warned to stop abusing his position to date married women and school girls.

The special software  used to record Mohadi is sold to nation states only and Zimbabwe is one of the 25 countries in the world using the technology.

The technology allows intelligence agencies to record voice calls using just the phone number. It takes advantage of weaknesses in telecommunications networks and can be used for any phone on any network in the world.

Other nations using the software include Australia, Belgium, Botswana, Chile, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico Mexican Navy state of Durango, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Serbia, Thailand Internal Security Operations Command military intelligence battalion narcotics suppression Bureau, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Zambia.
