Phillip Chiyangwa, charismatic COSAFA president, says the upcoming Confederation Of Africa Football (CAF) presidential elections are academic and Patrice Motsepe will win.

Chiwenga was speaking to the Daily Sun Newspaper.

Motsepe is one of four candidates and will be contesting against:

– Jacques Anouma of Ivory Coast

– Ahmed Yahya – Mauritania

– Augustine Senghor – Senegal

According to Chiyangwa, COSAFA will be voting as a bloc, guaranteeing Motsepe a minimum of 14 votes.

Motsepe will announce his election manifesto on Thursday. He met FIFA president, Gianni Infantino in Cape Town yesterday.
