Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of ECG ministries has dinsissed claims that he was planning to escape to Kenya from Malawi.
This comes after Bushiri’s daughters and mother-in-law were reportedly stopped from leaving Malawi for Kenya at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
According to Bushiri’s spokesperson, one of his daughters required urgent medical attention in Kenya, hence the trip in company of three other people.
Bushiri said people just hate him for no reason thus they do everything they can to bring him down.
He added that no one is trying to kill him or rob hence there is no reason for him to run away from his country.
Bushiri and his wife fled from South Africa to Malawi after being granted bail last year
They’re facing charges of theft, money laundering and fraud in connection with an alleged R100-million investment scheme.
