Three South African based Soccer players Khama Billiat, Willard Katsande and Gabriel Nyoni, have all recently suffered injuries and are unable to play for their soccer teams.
Kaizer Chiefs striker, Khama Billiat was injured in January and is out of action for 6 months.
Willard Katsande, was injured this weekend and had to be substituted during the match with Supersport United.
Cape Umoya United striker, Gabriel Nyoni, received a career threatening injury during their match with Richard’s Bay FC on Tuesday. He had been in hospital since last week, and will be released after seven days.
Cape Umoya United plays in the GladAfrica Championship league.
Nyoni underwent surgery this week and his coach said it was a success. However, Nyoni will not play again this season.
He sustained a double ankle injury and a fractured and broken foot.
Nyoni joined the club after one year at Maritzburg United.
