The State Capture Inquiry has filed an urgent application at the constitutional court calling for former President Jacob Zuma to be arrested for two years.

The move by the State Capture Inquiry comes after a no show at the proceedings last week by the former President.

The Commision further wants Police Minister Bheki Cele and National Police Commissioner General Khehla Sitole to be ordered to take all steps as may be requiree to give effect to the order that Zuma be sentenced to imprisonmeny for a term of two years for contempt.

In last week’s media briefing Zondo said no one is above the law. He also said Zuma must be arrested so as to set an example to the public.
