Uganda’s main opposition leader, Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine has been warned against withdrawing election petition.
Lawyers representing NRM have warned the National Unity Party presidential candidate Bobi Wine against any plans to withdraw his presidential petition reminding him of the processes and costs involved.
The lawyers said it costs to withdraw a case of such gross magnitude.
Lastweek, Bobi Wine threatened to withdraw the petition as he argued that the Yoweri Museveni administration is blocking him from doing so.
He was also blocked when he went to submit the petition to the Human Rights offices in an event that got out of hand as 7 journalists were severley injured after being beaten by soldiers.
