The Star Newspaper today revealed a secret operation by the South Africa Nation Defence Force (SANDF), which was launched at the Beitbridge border.

The newspaper said the operation was so sophisticated that it needed specialised intelligence knowledge.

The operation was launched under the name of an IT company called Vianna security. The newspaper also said it is possible that Vianna was a code name for the operation.

The company was paid R40 Million to secretly manage the Beitbridge arms safety programme.

The programme was designed ‘to keep an eye’ on potential criminals crossing into South Africa.

The Star Newspaper said during their investigations, they found that the company called Vianna was not known at its registered address in Randburg.

There was no paper trail of any work done by the company.

When the reporter visited the premises in Randburg, they found a small accounting employment agency.

The staff of the company said they had never heard of Vianna.
