Zimbabwe People Power Movement leader, Albert Matapo, has revealed that the late Zimbabwe Army General, Douglas Nyikayaramba, was a dangerous murderer who killed a lot of people.
Matapo said Major General Nyikayaramba was one of Zimbabwe army generals who issued a statement in 1999 saying they will never salute a civilian, referring to Morgan Tsvangirai.
Matapo said Nyikayaramba was responsible for the murder of Colonel Nleya who was investigating a Poaching syndicate that was operating from Mozambique.
Matapo said Nyikayaramba was appointed to oversee elections in Zimbabwe, while he was still in the Zimbabwe National Army, at the Electoral Supervisory Commission (ESC) , where he rigged elections for Mugabe before returning to the army.
Matapo said Major General Nyikayaramba might be declared a national hero by Mnangagwa, but this is not deserved.
History Of Nyikayaramba
Matapo said Nyikayaramba was involved in vote rigging in the 2013 elections.
2013 – Nyikayaramba called for Mugabe to be declared a life President of Zimbabwe.
2000 – 2002 – He was the CEO of the ESC. ZANU-PF lied that Nyikayaramba had resigned from the army. After the elections he returned to the army.
– Captain Nleya of 2.1 infantry battalion was killed while investigating rhino Poaching by Nyikayaramba.
1991 – Lt Shepherd Chisango was killed in custody on Nyikayaramba ‘s orders.
– Nyikayaramba was Responsible for the murder of Martin Sibanda and Martin Marimo who were killed during anti-rhino poaching operations. Nyikayaramba ordered them to be shot.
– Nyikayaramba was involved in partisan food distribution during operation Maguta. He warned chiefs in 2011 that if the opposition won, he would come after them.
