Central African Republic: Forces Return to Bangui

The United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic has announced the arrival of its first convoy of humatarian aid in Bangui.

The arrival of forces comes after the blockade of the capital by rebels 50 days ago.

On Monday, 14 trucks of UN humatarian aid arrived escorted by the Blue Helmets with 9 from the World Food Program and others contained equipment dedicated to Minusca.

On 19 December 2020, rebels who already occupy two thirds of the Central African Republic launched an offensive with the aim of overthrowing the regime of President Faustin Archange Touadera.
