Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono says his song ‘Dem loot’ has received no air play on national radio stations and television.

In an interview on SABC, Hopewell said not even a single radio station in the country has played the song.

Chin’ono released his hit song last week Sunday.

He said all radio stations are either owned by the state or cronies of the state hence they do not tolerate criticism.

Hopewell Chin’ono said he released Dem loot as a reflection of corruption on national resources

Chin’ono said he chose the reggae genre because it is popular in Zimbabwe and Africa thus it resonates well with a number of people including the youths.

He said the government is failing to provide even basic equipment needed in hospitals.
