Dennis Juru, the Zimbabwe International Cross Border association has revealed that the South African government has rejected the request by the Zimbabwean Government to open the Beitbridge border on 4 February.

Beitbridge Border post is the only land border between Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Juru said South Africa is retaliating after the Zimbabwe government is refusing to open their borders late in 2020.

Juru said discussions on opening of borders are only going to start on the 15th of February.

However, flights into and out of Zimbabwe are still open.
