Iconic actress, Cicely Tyson, an 8 decade veteran of TV, the stage and screen, has died at 96.
Cicely was the foremost black actress and mentored popular figures such as Oprah.
Cicely also won the presidential medal of freedom for her fight for equality.
Former US President, Barack Obama, paid tribute to Cicely on Instagram after her death.
