Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) president Douglas Mwonzora has said the fight against covid-19 must never be politicised.
The call for unity among politicians to fight Covid-19 comes following Mwonzora’s call for the National dialogue which got him criticised for being a Zanu-PF puppet.
In a video circulating on social media, Mwonzora said the pandemic has taken lives of people from all classes and political parties in the country.
“It has affected the people from the classes of all divide, across the political divide, and across regional divide. Ou condolences to all the families who have lost their loved ones,” said Mwonzora.
The MDC-T president also urged the International community and the government of Zimbabwe to prioritise sourcing and equitable distribution of World Health Organisation approved vaccines.
“Protective clothing should be made available to all front line workers,” added Mwonzora.
