The Security forces who have kept Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine under arrest for 11 days have refused to follow a court order to leave Bobi Wine’s house with immediate effect.
Earlier today, the Ugandan Court ordered security forces to cease sorrounding the home of Bobi Wine, to vacate his property and his right to personal liberty with immediate effect.
However, according to Bobi Wine, the military still surrounds his house blocking access to all.
“The High Court ruled this morning that my continued house arrest (11 days now) is illegal & unconstitutional. Several hours later, the military still surrounds my home, blocking access to all! Perhaps (as always) waiting for Gen. Museveni’s orders on the next course of action,” tweeted Bobi Wine.
