Chiwenga and Mohadi Hit By Covid-19

Vice President Kembo Mohadi and General Chiwenga are suspected to have contracted Covid-19 following their absence at the national heroes acre.

Posting on Twitter, Wellence Mujuru said he is praying for the VPs.

“I’m praying for our VPs ,Cabinet ministers 🙏🏾 and Team Lacoste let your Will be done Lord. #CovidIsReal”, he wrote

The Independent reports that Emmerson Mnangagwa cut short his leave to bury two national heroes while mourning his ally, Foreign Affairs minister Sibusiso Moyo, in the absence of his two Vice-Presidents who are reportedly down with unspecified illnesses.

Mnangagwa had to quarantine 14 days after his top security aide caught the deadly virus

Mnangagwa has lost three of his ministers to COVID-19, starting with Perrance Shiri (Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement) in July last year, Gwaradzimba last week and Moyo on Wednesday.
