The National Unity Party which is led by Bobi Wine whose real name is Robert Kyagulanyi says it will challenge the victory of Yoweri Museveni.
Yoweri Museveni was re-elected to power as he managed to get more than 6 million votes whereas Bobi wine managed to get 3 million votes.
However, the National Unity Party says it will challenge this victory and the party also condemned the house arrest of Bobi Wine and his wife.
According to multiple reports some of Bobi Wine’s supporters have accepted the defeat and they are ready to get back to their normal day to day activities.
Meanwhile, the internet was opened on Monday however communication channels such as emails are working whereas all social media platforms are still not functioning leading to Ugandans to turn to VPN’s in order to get back online.
