Uganda President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has warned foreign media houses to stay out of Ugandan affairs.
In his address as the newly elected President, Museveni said the Ugandan media does not interefere with foreign politics hence the foreign media must do the same.
“The foreigners, who are shallow, they are not serious, you heard them in their BBC channel and Aljazeera. There is high youth turn up in Uganda and this turn up favours Bobi Wine. They think youth is just biology, they dont know that youth is biology but also ideology,” said Museveni.
Yoweri Museveni also went on to dismiss allegations that he wants to remain in power so as to enjoy good life.
“I don’t need to be in the government to have a good life. I already have a good life as a farmer. My going into leadership was to deal with some historical challenges like people living in poverty in a rich land,” said Museveni.
