Prominent Harare lawyer, advocate Thabani Mpofu’s father has died.
MDC A leader Nelson Chamisa shared the sad news on social media.
The cause of Mpofu’s death has not yet been revealed.
“I have just been informed that Our father, Mr Mpofu, father to our brother, Cde and people’s advocate @adv_fulcrum has passed on. This is a tragic loss. We send our sincere condolences to the Mpofu family. May his soul rest in peace.”
Thabani described his father as a rebellious and free spirit.
“A keen and consistent mind. Never boxed in, independent to the end. We are thankful that you were. Rest easy Pops. Ulale esandleni somusa baba wami”, he wrote on twitter.
