MDC Alliance President,  Nelson Chamisa ,refused to talk about politics at ths late Christine Java’s funeral, during his speech yesterday.

Chamisa later told journalists that Christine Java had made a choice to remain in senate, even though he had deployed her,  when asked to withdraw, in his support after the Supreme court judgment.

A visibly annoyed Chamisa refused to talk about politics as he said it was not the right time or place as the funeral was attended by different officials from ZANU PF, MDC-T among others.

“If I talk about politics I will end up frustrating other individuals as I can see there are officials from ZANU, MDC. Lets stick to showing love to the late senator”.

Meanwhile Advocate Chamisa described the late MDC Alliance Senator Christine Java Rambanepasi as a mother, fighter and brave cadre.

President Chamisa also commended the Java family for giving Senator Rambanepasi a befitting send-off.

“Senator Rambanepasi was a mother, fighter and brave cadre.She was a veteran of the struggle for freedom”.

At the same time we remember her as a great mother. I am happy with all the work that has been done here. I really appreciate your effors.

President Chamisa also urged the Java family to remain strong following the death of Senator Rambanepasi.Senator Rambanepasi’s sons, Apostle Java and Passion Java acknowledged President Chamisa’s presence at the funeral.
