ZANU PF director of Information and publicity Tafadzwa Mugwadi has threatened to expose the real reason why the ANC delegation came to Zimbabwe.
This comes after SABC news reporter Sophie Mokoena called out ED Mnangagwa for failing to act on Zimbabweans illegally crossing the limpopo river.
Addressing the issue on twitter Mugwadi said ANC and SABC should reign Sophie or risk being disgraced.
“If the @MYANC & @SABCNews do not restrain & reign @Sophie_Mokoena whose fake news reporting & tweeting is directed only at undermining a neighboring country & President @edmnangagwa for no apparent reason, I will seek permission to leak a bombshell on why the ANC delegation came to Zim last time”, he wrote.
South Africa’s ruling party dispatched a delegation to Zimbabwe to help mediate an end to the nation’s escalating economic and political crisis in September last year.
The team, led by African National Congress Secretary-General Ace Magashule, met officials from the ruling ZANU PF, sidelining other parties.
Mugwadi added “This colorless concubine of some ANC stalwart is fast crossing the Rubicon. @Sophie_Mokoena stop your xenophobic reporting & respect Zimbabweans. Takuzomufumurai manje”.
