Popular Zimbabwean International journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, says many high ranking officials from Mnangagwa ‘s ZANU PF are calling him with messages of support.

He said even the police who are arresting him have apologised to him and and said they know he is being victimized and have explained that they are just following orders from above.

Chin’ono said sources within ZANU PF havs told him that Mnangagwa was aware that he was going to be arrested.

He said the fact that Mnangagwa has not spoken against the arrests means that he agrees with his arrests.

He said the fact that Chinamasa has named him as being against Mnangagwa’s family, means that Mnangagwa is behind his arrests.

Chin’ono said his second arrest was because he tweeted that the state was not going to oppose bail in the case of Henrietta Rushwaya.

Chin’ono said part of his bail conditions is that he should not speak about obstruction of justice in the Rushwaya case.

Chin’ono said he can not comment on the issue of Henrietta Rushwaya, however, there is a sitting judge who deposed an affidavit saying she was being told how to write judgements.

Chin’ono said South Africa has been quiet about the situation in Zimbabwe, resulting in illegal immigration. He said this resulted in unsophisticated people in South African Townships thinking Zimbabweans are taking their jobs.

He said if South Africa was speaking up, the situation in Zimbabwe would not be at this level.

He said the presidents in SADC do not talk against each other. Similarly at AU level, he said they are not speaking up.
