The Directorate of Priority Crime investigation, the Hawks, are appealing to the public for assistance with Information on how Bushiri and his wife fled out of South Africa.
Acting Spokesperson for the Hawks, Katlego Mogale said anyone with information regarding this escape is advised to notify the Hawks directly.
She added that information received will be handled confidentially.
“Anyone with information regarding his escape is encouraged to anonymously contact law enforcement” said Mogale.
Two weeks ago the Bushiris successfully escaped South Africa to Malawi while on bail but there is no trace on how they left.
Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, Mary are facing charges of rape, money laundering and fraud in South Africa.
