16 Ugandans are confirmed dead after the arrest of opposition presidential candidate, Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine is currently being held at a police station after being accused of violating Anti – Coronavirus regulations.
Sporadic protests and gun shots broke out in Uganda as opposition supporters demanded the release of the popular opposition candidate who is seen as the biggest threat to the incumbent president, Yoweri Museveni.
Ugandans will be going to the polls on January 14.
