The funeral service of Mimie Maona was held in her parents’ modest home last night, in contrast to Ginimbi’s Domboshava mansion where she was travelling to when she died after his Rolls Royce crashed in Borrowdale on Sunday morning.
In a video shown on YouTube, mourners who were gathered at the funeral service were mostly young women in their early 20s.
A young woman who spoke at the service reminded that death is a journey that everyone has to undertake on their own. The unnamed speaker said people spreading rumors’ that Ginimbi had goblins that caused the accident are talking nonsense.
She said some people were claiming that Maona had loose morals, when their own children are worse off and are performing despicable acts.
