Popular Zimbabwean journalist, Hopewell Chinóno, has reportedly been arrested by police In Zimbabwe this evening.
Human rights lawyer, Alex Magaisa, broke the news with a post on Facebook announcing the arrest of Chinóno.
He followed up with a more detailed post explaining that Chinóno was reportedly arrested for his tweets on the conduct of Chief Justice Malaba.
A few days ago, Gambakwe Media received a letter from Amnesty International appealing to police commissioner, Godwin Matanga, to release Hopewell.
