ANC Delegation To Zimbabwe member, Lindiwe Zulu, is in trouble following her return form Zimbabwe.

The Sunday times reports that Zulu did not self isolate after she came back from Zimbabwe and posted herself socializing on Instagram soon after her return from Zimbabwe. She posted a picture of herself with Kaizer Chiefs manager, Bobby Motaung on Friday.

Zulu also refused to say if she had obtained permission to travel to Zimbabwe in the first place.

Under South Africa’s COVID-19 regulations, anyone who comes into South Africa must be in quarantine for 10 days on their return. Only two of the ANC delegation members self-isolated on their return from Zimbabwe.

Ace Magashule, who does not hold a governmemt position, requires special permission to travel outside SA.

Opposition parties in South Africa have asked President Cyril Ramaphosa to investigate the circumstances that led to the delegation travelling to Zimbabwe in an Air Force jet.

It is suspected that the delegation used the Air Force jet to avoid COVID-19 regulations. Only the Minister of Defence, Mapisa Nqakula, who was also part of the delegation, had permission from Ramaphosa to travel to Zimbabwe to meet her counterpart, Oppah Muchinguri.
