Naomi Mulima speaks to Sophie Lichaba and Gugu Khati and about growing up with her grandmother. The Pastor started to abuse her when  she was 8 years old. This went on for three years.

When she was 12, she moved in with her father and mother. Her father was running a shebeen. When her mother was at work, he father would leave her with men and she would serve them beer.

One day she was sitting with her sister in the room behind the security gate. A man came and convinced her and abused her for R20.

After that men started to abuse her. They would do all kinds of things to her.

Addicted to Pain

After 3 years, she fell sick. She has a mental disorder and started to crave pain. She started to cut herself and she also started to provoke her boyfriend so that he can beat her up. Her boyfriend was beating her up and she lived for this pain.

Marriage

One day she got was invited to church. She became born again and was married. She could not conceive and went to a doctor.

The Doctor did a scan and saw that her womb had been displaced. Naomi was refereed to a doctor to in Pretoria who then did an operation. Her medication cost her R50 000.

She was financially and emotionally drained.
