Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume on Monday appeared in court while handcuffed for his routine remand.

Ngarivhume’s lawyer Moses Nkomo said the prison officers claimed that they could not remove the handcuffs because they developed a fault.

Nkomo who showed annoyance to the appearance of Ngarivhume in court with handcuffs said the magistrate was not amused with the prisoner’s situation.

Ngarivhume was arrested last month on charges of inciting public violence and are being held at the Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison.

Ngarivhume’s ruling for the bail appeal will be handed down tomorrow the 21st of August.
