Ideal Zimbabwe President, Tinashe Jonas, says Nelson Chamisa is holding Zimbabweans at ransom through his failure to accept the 2018 Presidential elections.

Jonas says Chamisa is doing everything in his power to become a President and is not interested in solving the crisis in Zimbabwe.

Jonas said the special envoys sent by Cyril Ramaphosa did well by not meeting Chamisa and the MDC Alliance because Chamisa set conditions that the dialogue should not talk about anything except legitimacy issues.

Jonas said Zimbabweans are mistaken in their belief that there needs to be a GNU or a National Transitional Authority (NTA) for Zimbabwe’s problems to be solved.

Jonas said every country has problems but it does not mean there needs to be a dialogue in those countries.

Jonas said Zimbabwe’s problems do not need anyone from South Africa to be solved. He said the ANC is under pressure from the media to intervene in Zimbabwe. However, Zimbabwe does not need South Africa to intervene.
