Former deputy finance minister Terrence Mukupe has denied allegations of human rights abuses on activists and the opposition by Emmerson Mnangagwa government.

Speaking to eNCA on Sunday, Mukupe said there is no evidence of abductions, illegal arrest and torture of any single person in Zimbabwe.

Mukupe said Mnangagwa is right to flush out the opponents threatening his presidential position because of greed.

He said the opposition is making up situations to create a bad image for Mnangagwa and his government.

Mukupe said it is very important that Cyril Ramaphosa sent a special envoy to Zimbabwe to analyse the the deteriorating humanitarian crisis which they will not find anything because there is nothing of that sought.

He added that there are people with sinister objectives and motives reprocessing things that happened in the past to make it appear like its happening again.

Mukupe said he would have joined the 31 July national protest against corruption however it was changed to a march against ZANU PF.

Mukupe said Tsitsi Dangarembwa is a MDC project looking forward to the removal of Emmerson Mnangagwa hence claims she is making that there are dying people inside prison cells are not true.
