The City Press newspaper reports that the sons of ANC Secretary General and his close friends have been awarded multi Million Rand PPE tenders in his Free State Province.

Magashule has declared that there is nothing wrong with family and relatives of the ANC members Benefiting from government business.

The following tenders have been mentioned as being suspicious:

1. The Docrats, close friends of Magashule were awarded three contracts – R7 Million. The Docrats also own the furniture company, Sedgars.

2. Hantsi Mateke, a close associate of Magashule ‘s, was awarded PPE supply contract of R900 000

3. The son of prominent radio personality, Thusi Motaung (Tebang Motaung), Was awarded a supply contract for PPEs of R4, 7 Million and another for R1 Million. Thuso Motaung is a close associate of Magashule.

4. Angela Botlhoko, a prominent member of the ANC Women’s league, was awarded a contact for R1, 2 Million for unnamed goods.

5.  Ben Moseme received R4, 7 Million.

6. Local car wash and Shisa Nyama KLAK Trading, received R4. 3 Million

7. Fraud Convicted Brothers, Kegomodicoe and Keabecoe Lekone, were awarded R4. 8 Million contracts despite serving 7 years in jail.

The Free state provincial Treasury Head, Godfrey Mahlatsi told City Press that they will respond once investigations are complete.
