Zimbabwean Activist Godfrey Tsenengamu says South African President Cyril Ramaphosa should intervene in the Zimbabwean situation before the masses are forced to mobilise and take arms to fight against the ruling party ZANU PF.

In an interview with SABC News, Godfrey Tsenengamu said that Ramaphosa should intervene in the Zimbabwean situation himself because sending envoys will not be enough.

He said that if South Africa does not intervene now, there will be a spillover of Zimbabwean problems into South Africa as it has already started.

Tsenengamu said Zimbabweans have already started crossing the border daily into South Africa and this will also affect the stability of the South African economy.

He said that if Ramaphosa does not intervene soon enough, Zimbabwean masses will be forced to take up arms against the ruling party who will not hesitate to use the army and police force to suppress the masses.

Godfrey Tsenengamu was expelled from ZANU-PF earlier this year after exposing government of corruption and he now leads a non-partisan civic anti-corruption movement – the Green Revolution.
