Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa says the opposition parties and everyone who promotes hate and disharmony in the country will never win.

Addressing the nation on Monday morning, Mnangagwa said: “The bad apples which have attempted to weaken our system will be flashed out”.

He said the new dispensation’s main goal is to improve the plight of Zimbabweans through an elaborate agenda to reform, restructure and rebuild towards the achievement of vision 2030.

Mnangagwa said his administration has been facing hurdles and attacks since inauguration, these included the divisive politics of some opposition elements, illegal economic sanctions, cyclones, droughts and the covid-19, economic aggression, local currency manipulation and detractors who fear the inevitable eminent success of our reforms, undermine projected economic growth and stability made by ZANU PF.

Mnangagwa said his government priorities peace, unity and development however the country has recorded an escalation in human rights violations against anyone who criticises ZANU PF and its leadership.

“We will defeat the attack and stop the bleeding of our economy, overcome attempts at destsbilisation of our society by a few rogue individuals acting in league with foreign detractors”.

Mnangagwa said everyone should unite towards a common goal in honesty and love for a better Zimbabwe
