Dr Vusi Sibanda, who heads the African Diaspora Forum says Emmerson Mnangagwa and his government are worse than the Colonial regime in as much as state brutality is concerned.

Speaking to South Africa eNCA, Sibanda said, the colonial regime did not send security forces to march in the streets to intimidate and harass the masses.

This comes after the state deployed security forces ahead of the 31 July anti corruption march.

Sibanda said Mnangagwa’s government is intimidating people who voted him into power expecting a better Zimbabwe through his leadership.

He added that the arrest of people arbitrarily is an infringement of rights constituted in the country’s constitution.

Sibanda said scores of people leaving Zimbabwe for South Africa and other countries continue to rise because of untold suffering the masses are living in.
