A Bulawayo house party that was held in the Burnside Suburb recently has sparked a Covid 19 panic in the city as reports of some of the attendees’ deaths from the virus are beginning to emerge.
Sunday News reports that Two people who reportedly attended the party have since died, the second being a close associate of the party organiser who died on Friday, reportedly from Covid-19 complications.
The lavish party, which was held on 4 July at a lodge in the low density suburb of Burnside, has sparked some reports alleging that most people who graced the event had contracted the Covid-19 disease.
It is said that the party was organised by city businessman Mr Moses Matsveru, who brought together some prominent socialites in the City and even some from Harare.
Some reports have also come out that most of the guests were money changers, car dealers, businesspeople and “slay queens” who came together for the exquisite Party of the year.
