Vice Chairman for the MDC Alliance Job Sikhala says that the much anticipated 31st July Demonstrations are not about the rigged 2018 elections by ZANU PF but are against the corruption and looting of funds meant to improve the Zimbabwean economy.

Sikhala who is currently in Zambia after hearing that the police and state agents were looking for him, said that ZANU PF fear the expressions of the people because they have failed to deliver over the past 2 years.

He said that Zimbabweans have suffered enough under the dictatorship of the ruling party which is failing to provide enough food for the people especially in the rural areas.

Sikhala said that the ruling party, ZANU PF has ruined the future of the youth who have no hopes for employment after they have finished their education.

He said that it is unacceptable that ZANU PF has been looting funds meant to fight a deadly pandemic in the country and that ZANU PF has been looting funds from the Reserve Bank.

Job Sikhala said that the MDC Alliance has appealed to global organisations like the United Nations to help out with the situation in Zimbabwe of persecuting individuals who are expressing their grievances to the government.
