MDC-T acting deputy national chairperson Morgen Komichi has distanced his party from the planned 31 July National Protest.

Komichi said organisers of the protest are putting the lives of people at risk for money in a time when the country is currently fighting the deadly covid-19.

“I don’t know the rationale of this, but this does not smell good. Why put people’s lives at risk for money, why the protests now? As the MDC we will not be part of the charade”, said Komichi.

Meanwhile Jacob Ngarivhume and other opposition parties against Emmerson Mnangagwa have vowed to come out in numbers on the 31st of July despite ZANU PF threats.
