The ZANU PF government has vowed to continue arresting activists accusing them of violating Covid-19 regulations as they demonstrate against the ruling party.

Permanent Secretary for Information and and publicity Nick Mangwana said no one is above the law thus anyone who breaks it should face their day in court.

Mangwana said the government will continue with the unlawful arrests of anyone going against Emmerson Mnangagwa.

A number of activists including opposition leaders like Tendai Biti, Namatai Kwekweza, Godfrey Kurawona and journalists from independent media houses continue to be harassed for practising their democratic rights and exposing the government.

The opposition is mobilising a national protest on the 31st of July against Emmerson Mnangagwa, corruption, economic meltdown and gross human rights abuses thus major cities like Harare and Bulawayo have seen heavy police presence.
